Hello there!
The other day, I was listening to one of my spiritual fathers share a profound truth that struck a chord deep within me. He kept repeating this phrase: "Every seed produces after its kind." As I pondered over his words, a revelation dawned on me. I am a tree of righteousness, a tree of favor, testimony, and breakthrough. Yet, here I was, holding on to the negativity the world kept throwing my way.
Who Does God Say You Are?
How often do we allow the world's labels to define us? Perhaps you've been told you're not good enough, that you can't succeed, or that you'll never amount to much. These words echo in our minds, planting seeds of doubt and fear. But here's the truth: you are not a seed of failure.
God calls you His child—a son or daughter of the Almighty King. In Christ Jesus, you are a new creation. The Bible tells us, "Old things have passed away; behold, all things have become new" (2 Corinthians 5:17). Your past no longer defines you. The chains of negativity, failure, and doubt are broken.
When the Son sets you free, you are free indeed (John 8:36). This freedom is not just from sin but also from every label, every lie, and every limitation the world has placed on you.
Embrace Your True Identity
You were born to reign, to rule, and to dominate. You are a seed of righteousness, designed to produce blessings, favor, and testimonies. So why hold on to the negativity? Let go of the lies and begin to see yourself as God sees you.
Call yourself by the names God has given you:
- Victorious: You are more than a conqueror through Christ.
- Blessed: God’s favor surrounds you like a shield.
- Chosen: Before the foundation of the world, God chose you.
- Redeemed: You have been bought with a price and set apart for greatness.
When you start speaking life into your situation, when you declare who you are in Christ, you will begin to see transformation. The fruits of righteousness, favor, and breakthrough will manifest in your life.
Your Identity is Rooted in Christ
Remember, a tree cannot produce fruit unless its roots are deeply anchored in good soil. Your good soil is the Word of God and His promises. Meditate on these truths daily:
- "I am fearfully and wonderfully made." (Psalm 139:14)
- "I can do all things through Christ who strengthens me." (Philippians 4:13)
- "The Lord will make you the head and not the tail." (Deuteronomy 28:13)
When the world tries to remind you of who you were, remind yourself of who you are: a new creation, a seed of righteousness, and a child of the Most High.
A Life of Testimony Awaits
As you begin to reject the world's negativity and embrace your true identity in Christ, your life will become a testimony of His goodness. You will walk in favor, break through barriers, and inspire others to do the same.
So today, make a choice. Call yourself by the names opposite to what the world has called you. Embrace your identity as a child of God, and watch as His blessings overflow in your life.
